Walk Up NFT sneakers are a critical component of the platform, with various types and rarities influencing how users engage with the ecosystem. The carefully designed attributes of each sneaker - from durability and repair costs to efficiency and max distance - ensure a balanced and engaging experience for users. Understanding these classifications and attributes is key to maximizing the benefits within the Walk Up ecosystem.
There are 3 Sneaker types, each designed to suit a different exercise intensity and/or fitness level:
Trainer
1-15 km/h
Walker
1-6 km/h
Runner
6-15 km/h
Impact on Performance: Each type affects the speed range for earning and the sneaker's efficiency.
Note: If the speed exceeds these limits, the sneakers won't accumulate any more meters. Normal accumulation resumes when the speed falls within the specified range.
Influence: Type affects both the Efficiency and Speed Limit metrics.
Each pair of shoes in the Walk Up ecosystem has different levels of rarity, divided into 5 categories:
The higher the rarity of your purchased NFT, the more $WUT you will earn for the same amount of running time.
Level will affect the Efficiency stat of the shoes.
Levels will range from 1-30.
To level up, the user needs to accumulate a certain amount of experience points (EXP) based on the distance walked (1m = 1 EXP) and a certain amount of $WUT.
In addition to the benefits of increasing stats, high-level NFTs also receive additional special perks:
Allowed to mint or sell on the marketplace upon reaching certain levels.
Receive special rewards upon reaching level milestones.
Participate in level-restricted events.
Influences to Durability, Repair Cost, Efficiency, Max Distance, Validity, and the cost to level up.

The Durability by type measure by day refers to the maximum distance, and durability, measured in meters, that an individual can cover in a single day within the context of the Walk Up ecosystem.
Durability will be determined by Rarity. The rarer the shoes, the higher the durability.
When the user walks 1 meter with those shoes, the Durability decreases by 1 meter.
As Durability decreases, Efficiency will also decrease. If it reaches 0, the shoes will no longer be usable for earning.

If the shoes have durability higher than 0%, the repair cost will be reduced by a percentage of the max repair cost. When the durability decreases, the efficiency of earning performance also decreases. The decrease in efficiency can be measured as a percentage. (specified in the table below).
