Cookie Policy

Our applications and websites ("Services") use cookies, small text files that are placed by a web server on your computer or device when accessing our Services. We may place cookies and similar technologies ("core cookies") on your computers and devices and have access to them. Cookies may also be placed and read by third parties, in which case they are called "third-party cookies" and are described below.

We use cookies and local storage to improve our Services in accordance with the user agreement of the Terms of Service, including to monitor the total volume of use of our Services and the web traffic passing through them, to personalize and improve our Services, to help you navigate through our Services, to transmit content relevant to your interests, and to send you advertising messages.

We also use "web beacons'' (also known as "web bugs", "pixel tags" and "clean GIF files"), which are small graphic files with a unique identifier that can be used by our Services, for example, to set or link cookies, to track and to quantify the performance of our Services, to monitor the number of visitors viewing our Services, and to monitor the effectiveness of our advertising. Unlike cookies, which are stored on the user's hard drive or device, web beacons are usually invisibly embedded in web pages (or in email).

Types of cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies are necessary in order for you to use the Services, for example, to navigate through our sites and use the features provided by them (for example, cookies that allow you to log-in to the Services).

  • Operational cookies. These cookies collect information about how and when you and other visitors interact with our Services (for example, which pages are viewed most often). The information collected using such cookies is used to improve the quality of our Services.

  • Functional cookies. These cookies allow our Services to remember the choices you have made (for example, your login credentials) and send you content and offer functionality based on your preferences. For example, we may provide content based on the information recorded in the cookie about which region you are in.

  • Advertising cookies. These cookies are used to ensure that you receive advertising, if possible, focused on you and your interests. We may also share this type of information with third parties for the same purposes.

The types of cookies described above can be "session cookies" or "persistent cookies". Session cookies are on your device only while you use the Services, and are erased as soon as you log out of the Services or close your browser. Persistent cookies are stored on your device for a certain period of time after you log out of the Services or close your browser.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be placed by third parties when you use the Services, because third-party service providers whose services we use (including third-party advertisers) may place their own cookies on your hard drive or device. These cookies may inform such third parties about your preferences when navigating the sites or may be used for security purposes. Some of them also help to determine what kind of advertising is most appropriate for you.

For example, our sites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the site, which are text files placed on your computer to help the site analyze how visitors use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to Google and stored by Google on servers located in the USA. Upon our request, Google will use this information to evaluate how the site is used, to compile reports on site activity for site operators and to provide other services related to the operation of the site and Internet use. Google may also transfer this information to third parties when it is required to do so by law or when such third parties process such information on behalf of Google.

Similarly, we use Facebook's pixel system. The Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising by analyzing the actions you take on other sites. We use it to make sure that our Facebook ads are shown to the right people and are effective. When you visit our sites and perform some action, such a pixel is activated and reports this action to Facebook.

By using our sites, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google and Facebook in the manner and for the purposes described above.

Cookies placed by third parties when you visit their websites or Services

We also maintain a certain level of presence for Walk Up and its Services on third-party sites and services located outside Walk Up servers. When you visit or use third-party sites or services, their owners may place cookies or similar technologies on your computer or device. More detailed information about which cookies or similar technologies are used by such third parties can be obtained by reading the relevant third party's Cookie Policy.

Cookie Settings

You can opt out of using cookies that do not belong to the "Strictly Necessary" category by clicking on the "Opt out" button on the cookie banner at the bottom of the screen. In addition, despite the fact that most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can change your browser settings to stop automatically accepting cookies or enable the option to request consent to the use of cookies. However, if you refuse to use cookies, you will not be able to access some parts or functions of the Services.

If you continue to use the Services, you agree to the use of cookies in accordance with this Cookie Policy.
